Born into an indigenous music-loving family near Mt Isa, William Barton is Australia’s best-known and most creative didgeridoo player. Still in his 20s, he is also a composer, singer and guitarist and collaborates with many of Australia’s leading composers, orchestras, bands, choirs and vocal and instrumental groups. Being in high demand all over the world requires a gruelling travel schedule that too often keeps him apart from his friends.
