Dinah Shearing

Dinah Shearing AM has been one of Australia’s most outstanding actors. Most unusually, and at the peak of her career, she left the stage in her early 30s to marry and start a family in 1960. The exciting developments in Australian theatre at that time were permanently etched by the brillance of her career. Since then her family life has been predominant, and she never returned to the stage on a full-time basis. She is married to the artist Rodney Milgate and lives on the Central Coast of NSW.
